MX plattan eller MX plastsko är en ergonomisk fram-sko för tävlingshästar. Appliceras med söm eller lim och håller normalt mellan 2-5 veckor beroende på träningen.
Skon är lägst i tån, låg i trakten och lite högre mitt på, allt för att underlätta överrullningen och skapa ett snabbare steg samtidigt som den minskar påfrstningen på gaffelbanden.
Eftersom den är i plast så minskar den risken för hårda slag på bakbenen.
Modifierar man skon kan man såga ut för strålen och skapar då en sko som ger möjlighet för hovens mekanism att fungera helt ut. Ytterligare kan man skruva in dubb och wips så har du en snabb sko för vinterbana.
